orbit 軌道、延軌道轉
動詞：繞著一個比較大的物體轉圈圈。
名詞：一個固定的封閉路徑，衛星之類的天體會沿著這個路徑繞著另一個較重的天體轉圈圈。
(verb) To travel through space in a looping path around another, larger object.
(noun) A fixed path taken by an object such as a satellite as it travels around a body such as a planet.
organism 有機體
任何有生命的物體。
Any living thing.
PhD 博士學位
最高的學術學位，有博士學位的人會被稱為博士。
A high-level academic qualification. People with PhDs are given the title Doctor.
planet 行星
繞著恆星轉的大型天體
A very large object in space that orbits a star.
exoplanet 系外行星
繞著太陽以外恆星轉的大型天體。
A planet that orbits a star in a different solar system to Earth’s.
rogue planet 流浪行星
在星際太空到處遊走的行星，沒有繞著固定的恆星轉。
A planet that wanders through interstellar space, and does not orbit any star.
plasma 離子體
通常是很熱的氣體，同時原子軌道上的電子已經被游離而產生磁性。
Any gas, usually very hot, that has become magnetized because its electrons are released from its atoms.
pressure 壓力
因物體的組成原子互相撞擊而產生的力，例如地球大氣層的氣體重壓人體所產生的力就是大氣壓力。
The force of the atoms of one object pushing onto another. For example, the force of gases in Earth’s atmosphere pushing on a person.
probe 探測器
用來探索未知世界的無人太空船或機械裝置。
An unmanned vehicle or machine used to explore a new place, such as space.
